Hasan Elahi will facilitate COMMUNITY VIDEO PORTRAIT as a communal vessel for the exploration of History as Common Space. The idea is to capture shared community history as Common Space, and present the media in an art installation at a public space. See the full description for Community Video Portrait.

Hasan Elahi will be in Homer from April 10-15 as an artist-in-residence to work on Community Video Portrait.
Community Video Portrait will culminate with an installation at the Bunnell Street Arts Center on Thursday, April 14, 2011. This video installation is free and open to the public from 11am-7pm. Hasan Elahi will give a presentation at 6pm.
It is our hope that the installation will find a second home after April 14. Please contact common.homer@alaskadesignforum.org if you have a venue that could house the Community Video Portrait installation.
